General Practitioner/s

About you -

You're a GP who is vocationally registered with RACGP and/or ACRRM - and importantly, a kind and caring person. You spend time with individuals, there for them in the hard times while celebrating healthy happy times. You enjoy working with all ages, and especially value the time spent with older generations because of their wit and wisdom. You are the stereotypical doctor who continually expands their knowledge and experience. You are there for the patient, and respect the team of nurses, admin, allied health and medical professionals who work alongside you also. In choosing General Practice as a specialty, you likely want to be a critical part of a community, have a work-life balance, pursue your special interests, and yet want to be independent enough to make your own financial and professional decisions. If this is you, you are truly a modern day superhero. We know you exist because people like you work in our practice.

Why Work at Toowoomba Medical Centre?

We're an established general practice with a full patient workload. The doctors and nurses are a well-loved part of the community located in western Toowoomba. Our facilities are modern and multi-disciplinary. We're a family orientated general practice with a high proportion of elderly patients, young families, and a diverse multicultural student group. The suburbs surrounding us are affordable and safe family locations with a university campus and four aged care facilities in close proximity. We're committed to training the next generation of doctors and nurses. The staff care as much about each other as they do our patients. We offer educational, nursing, admin, marketing and business support, as well as strong relationships with local hospitals, specialists, and allied health. We are a mixed billing practice.

If you're a GP who fits the above description, or if you’d like to discuss the position further, contact the Practice Manager, Jan Schindler, on (07) 4635 6111, or email [email protected]
